Although the use of USSD codes is a widespread practise for access to services, the is little availability of small scale machinery required to execute at the farms.
Our journey has been one of introducing the machinery to the farmers, trainings, demonstrations and learning from the farmers.

Cradle creates employment by training operators to run & maintain machinery, while our shared-economy model allows a few assets to serve many farmers reducing the need for duplicate machines, cutting manufacturing, shipping and fuel use, lowering carbon emissions.

From our attendance of the Rwanda National Agricultural Show we received more that 50hecatres worth of orders from all over the country.

A lot of youth joined our training program and 3 graduated having shown quick learning abilities and basic mechanical skills.
Farmers expressed their need for mechanisation in rice farming, however, the nature of the land did not allow us to serve them.

Yet another happy customer, but one very tough job. The field had terraces & more than 1,000 trees. A true test on our ability to deliver.

“This is perfect because it will help farmers not miss the very short planting window in Bugesera”

“You are charging less for a hectare than I would pay people for half a hectare!”
