Solutions built by farmers for farmers.
We combine our expertise with on-the-ground community engagement to provide accessible, cost-effective farming services that help small-scale farmers boost their productivity.
Our strategy is built on deep engagement with the farming community, and continuous learning. Here’s how we’ve taken bold strides:

Our Journey

Laying the Foundation
Our journey started with a deep understanding of the problem. In November 2024, we immersed ourselves in the realities of small-scale rice farming—engaging with farmers, cooperative leaders, and industry stakeholders. We uncovered major challenges in rice farming in Rwanda - there is high dependency on manual labor and that 80% of the farming budget goes to manual labor which makes it the most expensive aspect of farming.
From Insight to Innovation
The best solutions aren’t built in isolation. We engaged directly with farmers, discussing different approaches and gathering their insights. Their feedback helped us refine our direction as to what works in their fields and what doesn't. This process led us to design a mechanization solution that prioritizes affordability, efficiency, and ease of use.
With clarity on the problem, we explored potential solutions. We analyzed existing mechanization options, compared their effectiveness, and assessed their feasibility for the farmers.

Building the Future
Turning vision into reality, we built our first prototype. Our first MVP is a Rice Transplanter designed specifically for small-scale rice farmers. The transplanter is a 4-row, 2HP Petrol Engine Driven machine with dimensions of 1.5m * 1.2m * 0.9m. Our goal was to develop a machine that:
- makes the process of transplanting faster,
- has more efficient seedling survival and
- helps decrease the cost of operation.

Putting It to the Test
The real test is always in the field. In February 2025, we worked closely with farmers to trial our Transplanter in real farming conditions. These tests provided invaluable insights on performance and on practical challenges like machine movement, terrain adaptability, and affordability.
Farmers shared feedback, highlighting the need for easier transport between fields and and providing access for other farming processes. With these takeaways, we are enhancing power, improving ground clearance, and increasing adaptability to different field conditions.

Looking Forward

A Mechanized Fleet
Farmer Success
We aim to have a fleet of machinery that help in the day to day farm operations. We will specifically start from Land Preparation equipment, Transplanting equipment, and Harvesting equipment.
We don’t see ourselves as just a machine service offering company. On the contrary, we work to Ensure that Farmers are Successful in their farming practices. Hence, we shall partner with agricultural experts to bring Expert Knowledge for farmers.
